With our summer season now upon us and the club being used virtually every night , I just wanted to remind our membership on a couple of key points .

1) Club Car Parking.

Can I please remind you all we have limited parking on the beach and would just like to reiterate our club guidelines

  1. Only fully paid up club members in their own right are allowed to park on the beach(providing spaces are available)
    b) Exception to above is that during the days , patrolling lifeguards  will be allowed to park
    c) You are only allowed to park on the left hand side (looking from the road) in single file. NO DOUBLE PARKING.
    d) Please do not block the parking reserved for the beach cottage.
    e) PRIORITY on training nights are for our designated managers plus recognised coaching staff only.
    f) You are ALLOWED to park for a very short period in order to load and unload equipment.
    g) Emergency access to the beach from the road must be kept CLEAR at all times

    Please make this easy for us all and ensure you all follow these simple guidelines  .Failure to abide and the club may have to re-visit our whole car parking arrangements . (as we will be in breach of our lease agreement)


    2) Water (Showers / Cleaning equipment)

    I am sure everyone is not fully aware of our utilities costs in running the club . None of these costs are covered within your membership and it something that we want to continue. Your committee is working extremely hard behind the scenes to ensure all these costs are covered and that we don’t end up passing onto our membership.  In particular our water rates constitute a significant amount of our annual costs.

    Can I please request you all remember this when taking showers / cleaning equipment / wetsuits etc. Showers / Outside Taps are always available after every designated club session but please review excessive use. With the summer and school holidays fast approaching please remember that unless you are attending a designated training club session, why is there a need to use the club showers?

    A reminder also – No wetsuits allowed in the Club House
