Easter Patrols

Thanks again to all of the members who have taken part in the patrols over the Easter weekend.
As a club, we have provided 8 hours of voluntary patrols, providing advice to the public that visits the beach.
The John’s also stayed later to cover the Annual Easter egg hunt as there was a larger number of people on the beach than is usual.
Although the surf was small today, it might not be the case on their next visit. Having a quick chat about rips and other hazards may help people make safer decisions when there is a large swell.
We will be running more patrols during 2024. Patrols can also run when training is on in the evenings & when the RNLI has finished for the day.
If you have any questions on how you can get involved, please let me know.
